Over the past month, my kid has been all about watching the animated movie Coco. Seriously, first thing in the morning, after naptime, and before bed, the requests are non-stop until I hit the play button on the remote. I love that it has inspired her to pick up her little 1 string guitar (once upon a time it had 6) and dance around the apartment strumming to whatever words she feels like singing.
Another cool thing about this movie is how much artist Frida Kahlo is featured! Like when Hector tries to impersonate her so he can cross the bridge, and when Miguel meets her in her studio chock full of imagery she was known for along with her pet monkey.
